Getting started
Install memberr Cart, enable the drawer, publish a layout, and optionally turn on upsells.
Get from install to a live cart drawer on your storefront, then optionally add upsells and check analytics.
Setup checklist
- Install memberr Cart from the Shopify App Store and open the app for your shop.
- Enable the theme app extension / cart drawer so the storefront loads the memberr drawer instead of (or alongside) the theme cart.
- Open Cart Editor, pick a template or start from blank, adjust blocks, and Publish a layout for your market(s).
- Open Settings and set trigger behavior:
- Trigger button position - bottom right, bottom left, or hidden (JS API only)
- Auto-open on Add to Cart - open the drawer when a product is added
- Cart icon selector - optional CSS selector so clicks on your theme cart icon open the drawer
- (Optional) Create Upsells funnels or enable Smart Upsells so shoppers see offers when the cart is viewed.
- (Optional) Configure Discounts in the app for automatic or code discounts that apply in the drawer and at checkout.
- Confirm activity on Home and Analytics, and drill into Cart Sessions when debugging a shopper.
Where things happen
| Surface | What happens |
|---|---|
| Storefront drawer | Shopper opens cart, edits items, sees progress bars / upsells, starts checkout |
| Admin → Cart Editor | Design header/body blocks, tokens, and publish layouts per market |
| Admin → Upsells | Manual funnels + Smart Upsells traffic split |
| Admin → Analytics / Home | Cart volume, conversion, product and upsell performance |
| Admin → Sessions / Events | Per-cart activity and raw event stream |
| Admin → Orders | Synced Shopify orders (list/detail in the app; not covered with screenshots here) |
Flow vocabulary (conditions, A/B splits, upsell steps) is shared with the Incentive Engine. Cart-specific trigger: Cart viewed.
